Business Central Developer – Operational Specialist (m/f/d)
Einhell is seeking an experienced Business Central Developer to manage, optimize and support our Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and NAV environments. This role will focus on maintaining system performance, ensuring data integrity, managing integrations and assisting in system upgrades and migrations. The successful candidate will work closely with our ERP, IT infrastructure and business process teams to ensure our Business Central platform delivers exceptional reliability and scalability.
Your Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Microsoft Dynamics Business Central databases (on-premises)
- Manage integrations between Business Central and other enterprise systems
- Support Business Central upgrades, patches and environment migrations
- Maintain data integrity, user access control and support security compliance according to internal standards
- Collaborate with developers, analysts and end users to enhance system functionality
- Operational support in Business Central development
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to Business Central and underlying systems
- Monitor and optimize SQL Server performance, queries, indexes and backups
Your Profile:
- 3+ years of experience with ERP systems – ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC or NAV
- SQL Server administration skills, including performance tuning
- Solid understanding of database structures and query optimization
- Experience in system integrations, data migrations and environment management
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft tools such as Power Platform, Azure AD, SQL Server, and Telemetry.
- Familiarity with Business Central AL development and extensions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively with the subsidiaries and internal teams, proactivity
- Troubleshooting, analytical and documentation skills
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Microsoft certification (eg. MB-800, SQL Database certification) is a plus
